Have you ever been arrested and if so did you waive your rights?

Interested to know how many people waive their Miranda warning rights and start yapping when arrested

I clammed up, it made a huge difference at arraignment and trial

Come on guy, spill the beans. Nobody cares about your Miranda rights. We want to know why you were arrested. What were the circumstances here?

just realize that the cops are not your friends here. in most cases they are NOT
looking for a plausable explanation; but details that fit their narrative or interpretation
of the crime. this means that will or might take your statements out of context,
twist your words/meanings, or try to manipulate you into saying something that
is quite innocent to you but is actually quite significant in the case. justice and the search for
truth are not the only and sometimes not even the main motivations during an
interrogation. make sure you get a lawyer first and best not to speak until one is
present.

So nice to have you speaking for everyone else here.

Never been arrested, so can't answer. Id probably start yapping, but best to keep your mouth shut.

I was arrested for a felony under the "CORA" law in CT. I think it stands for Corrupt Organized Racketeering Act although that does not sound 100& right. Not sure where my paperwork is to check. Uh no, I did not waive my rights. Why would anybody ever do that?
